Where is SMS blocked?
There are a few countries where the platform cannot deliver SMS/Text messages to, but most can still receive WhatsApp notifications. These include:
- China (WhatsApp also blocked. Email notifications only)
- New Zealand

Where is WhatsApp blocked?
There are a few countries where the platform cannot deliver WhatsApp messages. These include:
- China (SMS also blocked. Email notifications only)
- North Korea
- Syria
- Iran
When setting up Commitments, participants in countries where a service is blocked will not be able to add Text or WhatsApp as a notification option.
