How Do I Create a Habit Commitment?

Apply your learning and build new behaviours by making a commitment to a new habit. You'll get reminders to keep your habit top of mind, and help you track your progress along the way.

To Start

  1. Go to: https://start.actionable.co and enter your 4-digit session ID or use the direct URL or QR Code provided by your facilitator or program lead.
  2. Commitment: Answer some pre-populated questions; select a commitment from the pre-set options, or create your own (if available).
  3. Create Account: Using your name, email address and password.
  4. Set Notifications: Tell us when and how you want to be notified to check in on your
    commitment. (Add your mobile number for text notifications).
  5. Check In: Set a baseline for your commitment, using a simple 1 to 10 scale. Add a
    note to your check-in to give more detail on why you chose a particular rating.
  6. Invite Accountability Buddy (optional): Invite a colleague, mentor, manager, friend or family member to check-in on your progress.
  7. Set Visibility (optional): Want your team to see what you been up to? Click this
    toggle on to allow them to see high-level statistics of the progress you are making.

Habit Building Process

Starts after the session and running for a pre-defined number of days.

  1. Check In: You will receive emails or text messages from us to “check in” on your progress, which allows you to reflect on your progress made to-date. These emails and text messages will provide a link to your “check in” screen.
  2. Dashboard: Check your progress, view team statistics, see comments from
    buddies, change settings and access reports, all from your dashboard.

    Complete Commitment

    Typically  20-30 days later (but may vary); this marks the end of your habit builder experience.

    1. Reflect: You'll receive an invitation to answer a few more questions to complete your commitment process.
    2. You’re done! We hope you had a rewarding experience building a new habit.
