Receiving all Important Emails

This article guides you in receiving all emails from the Actionable Team and ensuring their consistent delivery to your inbox. The steps provided cover Gmail, Outlook, and iCloud Mail to prevent crucial messages from being missed.

The Specific Addresses to Consider

  • Domain: @actionable.co
  • Emails: connect@actionable.co, help@actionable.co, notifications@actionable.co, hive@actionable.co
  • IP Addresses: Can be found at the bottom of the article

Gmail:

Allowing Emails from Specific IP Addresses, Domains, or Email Addresses:

  1. Open Gmail and log in to your account.
  2. Click on the gear icon in the top right corner and select "See all settings."
  3. Navigate to the "Filters and Blocked Addresses" tab.
  4. Click on "Create a new filter."
  5. Depending on your preference:
    • For IP addresses, enter "Received: from [IP Address]."
    • For domains, enter the domain (e.g., @example.com) in the "From" field.
    • For specific email addresses, enter the email address in the "From" field.
  6. Click "Create filter."
  7. Check "Never send it to Spam" and click "Create filter."

Outlook:

Adding Safe IP Addresses, Domains, or Email Addresses:

  1. Open Outlook and log in to your account.
  2. Go to the "Home" tab and click on "Junk" in the toolbar.
  3. Select "Junk Email Options."
  4. Navigate to the "Safe Senders" tab.
  5. Depending on your preference:
    • For IP addresses, click "Add" and enter the IP address.
    • For domains, click "Add" and enter the domain (e.g., @example.com).
    • For specific email addresses, click "Add" and enter the email address.
  6. Click "OK" to add the entries to the Safe Senders List.

iCloud Mail:

Whitelisting IP Addresses, Domains, or Email Addresses:

  1. Open iCloud Mail and log in to your account.
  2. Click on the gear icon in the bottom left and select "Preferences."
  3. Go to the "Rules" tab.
  4. Click "Add a Rule" and enter a name for the rule.
  5. Depending on your preference:
    • For IP addresses, select "Is from IP address" and enter the IP.
    • For domains, select "Is from domain" and enter the domain.
    • For specific email addresses, select "Is from" and enter the email address.
  6. In the "Perform the following actions" dropdown, choose "Move to Inbox."
  7. Click "Done" to save the rule.

Removing Unsubscribe Filter:

Occasionally email clients will filter emails that have an unsubscribe button in them, like some of ours. To ensure that ours are getting through we recommend checking if you have one and removing it or altering it to allow specific domains through, see above. 

Gmail:

  1. Open Gmail and log in to your account.
  2. Click on the gear icon in the top right corner and select "See all settings."
  3. Go to the "Filters and Blocked Addresses" tab.
  4. Locate the filter containing "Unsubscribe" in the "Has the words" field.
  5. Click "Delete" next to the filter to remove it.

Outlook:

  1. Open Outlook and log in to your account.
  2. Go to the "Home" tab and click on "Rules" in the toolbar.
  3. Select "Manage Rules & Alerts."
  4. Find the rule containing "Unsubscribe" and click "Delete."

iCloud Mail:

  1. Open iCloud Mail and log in to your account.
  2. Go to the "Mail" section and select "Rules" from the left-hand menu.
  3. Find the rule related to "Unsubscribe" and delete it.
