How do I enable Slack notifications for my clients?

Slack can be turned on for your clients on a case-by-case basis, allowing commitment nudges and comment notifications to be delivered to participants via Slack.

Discuss with your Clients

Your clients will need to confirm some details prior to leveraging Slack as part of their Habit Building tool. Please check the following prior to requesting that we enable Slack for your client.

  1. Ensure that the Slack App is approved by your client's IT department or Slack Administrator. 
  2. Confirm that individual participants will be permitted to install the Slack App. 
    1. Slack's default settings allow individuals to install Slack apps, but some workplaces may have restricted this. The ability for individuals to install Slack Apps is critical. 
    2. Your organization's Slack Administrators might need to manually approve the Actionable Slack App if they don't permit open enrollment.
