How do I Enable Slack Notifications for my Programs?

Slack can be activated for your clients on request, allowing commitment nudges and comment notifications to be delivered to Participants via Slack.

Confirm with your Client or Organization

The Actionable Slack App needs to be approved by the User's organization before it can be activated. Please check the following prior to requesting that we enable Slack for a Client.

  1. Ensure that the Actionable Slack App is approved by your client's IT department or Slack Administrator. 
  2. Confirm that individual participants have the permissions to install the Actionable Slack App directly:
    1. Slack's default settings allow individuals to install Slack apps, but some workplaces may have restricted this. Authorization for individuals to install Slack Apps is critical. 
    2. The organization's Slack Administrators might need to manually approve the Actionable Slack App if they don't permit open enrollment.
