How Do I Use Power Commenting?

Support habit building success with personalized comments for your participants. Power Commenting gives quick access to all of your participant check-ins at once for faster visibility, so you can coach more efficiently and effectively.

Where to Find the Power Commenting tool:

You'll find it located in the sidebar in your platform dashboard under "Tools."

Using Power Commenting:

Power Commenting will show all of your participant check-ins or replies to you within a set date range, as well as their Commitment details. You can organize and review the list to comment on any commitment without leaving the screen.

  1. Click on Power Commenting in sidebar. Your list of participant check-ins will show in the dashboard (defaulted to the last 7 days).
  2. Set the date range by clicking on "last 7 days" to see the date selector to set a different option or date range. The date range is the period when the check-ins took place. You may want to look at just the most recent week or several weeks of the commitment or program.
  3. Alternatively: You can use the search field to filter the list by program, client, or session. 
  4. Use the "Group by" feature to organize your list. Optionally, you can also click a column header to sort ascending or descending within the group. 


  5. To Comment or Reply, select the icon under "Pick" next to the participant check-in. The commitment details for that participant will appear in the upper window and will include a comment text box.
  6. Add your comment with any personalization tokens or the Power Comment Prompts:
    1. Personalization Tokens allow you to quickly add text or unique links that changes for each participant.
    2. Click the "sparkle" icon to instantly generate coaching comment prompts based on Commitment activity. (Use the regenerate icon to see new options).
  7.  Click "Comment & Advance" to move to the next record.

All previous check-ins from the same commitment are hidden from the check-in table. Any check-ins that you skip using the “Advance without commenting” button will also be hidden from the table, leaving only the newest check-ins.

Reply Notifications

Your participants will receive immediate notification when you Reply to their journal or comment.

Consultants, Administrators, and Hosts/Facilitators supporting multiple sessions and receiving Reply notifications for various communications (e.g. Broadcast, Direct Coaching, Power Commenting) have the option to adjust the frequency of  Reply notifications. 

To set Notifications for Participant Replies:

  1. Navigate to your account profile at the top of your screen
  2. Select "Account Settings"
  3. Scroll to "General Notification Settings"
  4. Under "Comment Reply Notifications" you'll see the default set to Immediate. 
    1. Select Daily Summary to receive an email once per day with all replies organized by program. Set the time of day you'd like to receive your Summary email. 
    2. Select None if you don't wish to receive any notifications of Replies. You'll still see Replies in the Power Commenting table and the Participant Dashboard. 

 

 

Who Has Access to Power Commenting?

Power Commenting is available to all Firm Users, Administrators, Managers, and Hosts/Facilitators (with visibility turned on)
