# Receiving Commitment Notifications

## Ensure consistent delivery of your commitment notifications to your email inbox, SMS, and WhatsApp. Learn how to prevent crucial messages from being missed in Gmail, Outlook, iCloud Mail, or iMessage.

*Note: if many people in your organization report not receiving email notifications, the issue might be with your organization's firewall. ### Gmail:

#### Allowing Emails from Specific IP Addresses, Domains, or Email Addresses:

1. Open Gmail and log in to your account.
2. Click on the gear icon in the top right corner and select "See all settings."
3. Navigate to the "Filters and Blocked Addresses" tab.
4. Click on "Create a new filter."
5. Depending on your preference: 
     - For IP addresses, enter "Received: from \[IP Address\]."
     - For domains, enter the domain (e.g., @example.com) in the "From" field.
     - For specific email addresses, enter the email address in the "From" field.
6. Click "Create filter."
7. Check "Never send it to Spam" and click "Create filter."

### Outlook:

#### Adding Safe IP Addresses, Domains, or Email Addresses:

1. Open Outlook and log in to your account.
2. Go to the "Home" tab and click on "Junk" in the toolbar.
3. Select "Junk Email Options."
4. Navigate to the "Safe Senders" tab.
5. Depending on your preference: 
     - For IP addresses, click "Add" and enter the IP address.
     - For domains, click "Add" and enter the domain (e.g., @example.com).
     - For specific email addresses, click "Add" and enter the email address.
6. Click "OK" to add the entries to the Safe Senders List.

### iCloud Mail:

Whitelisting IP Addresses, Domains, or Email Addresses:

1. Open iCloud Mail and log in to your account.
2. Click on the gear icon in the bottom left and select "Preferences."
3. Go to the "Rules" tab.
4. Click "Add a Rule" and enter a name for the rule.
5. Depending on your preference: 
     - For IP addresses, select "Is from IP address" and enter the IP.
     - For domains, select "Is from domain" and enter the domain.
     - For specific email addresses, select "Is from" and enter the email address.
6. In the "Perform the following actions" dropdown, choose "Move to Inbox."
7. Click "Done" to save the rule.

### SMS Messages

Most SMS Messages will be delivered to you by +1 8559201065 for most places,+44 7361589523 in the UK, and ACTIONABLE if you live in a country that supports Sender IDs. You can add the number to your contacts so it can be recognized as a verified sender. 

### iMessage

Filtering messages from an Unknown to Known Sender:

1. Go to the first Actionable notification you have received by SMS (in your junk/spam or main inbox)
2. Add this number to your contacts as "Actionable Notifications" and save. 
3. Now this number will remain in your inbox for you to receive the SMS notifications.

### WhatsApp

Filter Messages from Unknown to Known Senders on WhatsApp:

1. **Open WhatsApp** on your phone.
2. Tap on the **Chats** tab if you're not already there.
3. Tap the **three dots (⋮)** in the top-right corner (Android) or **Settings** in the bottom-right (iPhone).
4. Go to **Privacy**.
5. Tap **Messages** or **Message Filtering** or **Advanced** (depends on your version).
6. Enable **Filter Unknown Senders** (iPhone) or look for the setting that separates chats from people not in your contacts (Android may show this under "Blocked Contacts" or "Contacts Only").
7. Once enabled, WhatsApp will **separate messages** from unknown numbers into a different section or mark them clearly, making it easier to manage who you respond to.
